I am a mom. 110%. I can’t help it. They shape your life, they change your world, and they force you to relize that you have lost control. Origionally I thought maybe this would be a place for a bunch of moms to tell their stories, but since they all have their own blogs, this has become my own little world, a place to tell my story, to write it all down so that I will remember. One day, I will not be so tired, my house will stay clean, and I will have endless amounts of free time. But on that day, my wild monkeys will have all grown and started their own lives. I will still be cheering them on, and I’ll still be their mommy, and I’ll be glad I left a record, so that I can remember…

Hey Hannah, I know you’re too busy settling in to post, but I think you’ll find this article about Rebecca Walker daughter of feminist Alice Walker interesting. She was raised up by her mother to denigrate motherhood and children, but look what happened. Interesting.

Hi Hannah! Your husband was the High School youth pastor at Calvary Chapel when my husband Bryan and I attended S.O.M. there in 2000-2001. I actually just emailed your husband to tell him how much I enjoyed his Blog and some other random ramblings I had after reading it, including congratulations to you guys on baby 4!! Anyway, I linked off to your Blog from his, and must tell you I just LOVE it!!! We sound so much alike in our goals for having one, mine is rachelmaes.wordpress.com I too have been asked the “What do you do?” question many times, or at least told by several people why I should be doing whatever it is they think I should be doing. But I am thankfully wife to a hard-working man who desires to provide for us, and for me to nurture my role as homemaker and mother to our two kiddoes and third on the way!! I look SO forward to continuing to read all your posts!!! God bless you and your family !!!
